Incredibly honest and clean sound, especially when fed through good studio monitors. I'm looking to upgrade my sound system to accommodate this wonderful turntable. Setting it up out of the box was a breeze, even for a novice like me. The felt mat is fine, but I would definitely recommend upgrading to a cork mat as it works very well with this system.

Great player. The quality of manufacture is wonderful. The sound is different from the box. The rumble from the motor is practically not listening. Over time, I bought the Music Hall Aztec Blue Turntable Mat plate to it. Sound and appearance improved. Then I bought the MC Audio Technica AT33EV head and problems began. This head is heavier than the standard one, I had to buy a counterweight harder. The Pro-JECT Counterweight 1 came up (weight 75g). I tried to set my head, it did not work out, the disk attracts it, (primagnets) and it begins to scrape on the plate. Got upset, But quickly found a solution, bought an acrylic disc Pro Ject Acryl it. He went perfectly. Now everything is great. The head feels good, the sound is excellent. I use in the tract with the Hegel H190 amplifier and the emotiva XPS-1 phonor-corrector (in the near future I plan to replace it with Hegel V10). So, for the possibility of upgrade to a higher level using Project spare parts, I definitely put 5 points). Among other things, after installing the acrylic disk, he washed down a neon backlight, so there are no complaints about the sound quality, nor to the appearance! Super apparatus.
